Network & Security Support

Qualification: Network Engineer should have a CCNA, CCNP certification with a minimum Experience of 6-7 Years in the relevant field.

The scope comprises onsite technical and techno-functional support including but not limited to: -
1. Expertise in troubleshooting, management and configuring of all network devices Like Routers(Cisco), Switches, Firewalls (Checkpoint, Cyberoam & Cisco ASA), Internet Proxy (Cisco Ironport, Cyberoam URL & Application filtering).
2. Expertise in troubleshooting, management and configuring LAN, WAN connectivity, PRI Lines, MPLS & Internet leased Lines, VC devices.
3. Troubleshooting, management and configuring NAT, Ipsec connectivity, Bandwidth & Network.
4. Troubleshooting, management and configuring the Wireless Controllers(Cisco) and Access points.
5. Troubleshooting, management and configuring of VOIP, CISCO IP Phones (Cisco or others if any).
6. Troubleshooting, management of Cisco IPT Environment which includes Subscriber, Unity, Publisher, CUCM, Cisco Meeting Manager
7. Troubleshooting, management and configuring of Network Monitoring Tool Solar Winds Monitoring tool.
8. Provide analysis and recommendations that will add value to solar winds functionality
9. Troubleshooting and Management of all the Network Switches including Core and Nexus Switches
10. Troubleshooting, management and configuring trunking, VLAN, Policy based Routing.
11. Troubleshooting of entire LAN/WAN with and Strong Knowledge on NAT, PAT, PRTG, ACL.
12. Handle all Service Requests, Incidents, Alerts and phone calls within SLA.
13. Perform complete Investigation and/or troubleshooting of Incidents.
14. Manage Alert Monitoring and Ticketing Queue to resolve issues within SLA.
15. Follow the SOP to resolve the problem and ensure process adherence.
16. Escalate tickets as required if troubleshooting steps do not resolve issue.
17. Should have expertise in IP Address and Sub netting.
18. Taking regular backup of all Network devices.
19. Carry out the Change Management & Incident Management process in case of any Troubleshooting.
20. Identify possible bottleneck or problems that could leads to gap in network bandwidth and system instability.
21. Take appropriate action for network stability with CUSTOMER consent.
22. Regular backup of solar winds database
23. Monitor all the 350 number of network nodes which are configured in the Solar Winds
24. Coordinate with service providers for all support in case of any hardware replacements.
25. Using of appropriate software tools for monitoring & analysis of the faulty appliance for root cause analysis.
26. Designing of all LAN/WAN setup with required Infrastructure.

1. Design and plan of new IPT servers, if any
2. Managing and troubleshooting the existing IPT network with an approx 450 Cisco IP Phones
3. Resolving user queries and issues
4. Failover of call manager if any call manager server breaks down
5. Maintenance of unity , Subscriber & Publisher servers (2 no) spread across multiple offices of CUSTOMER
6. Upgrade planning of IP telephony
7. Planning of additional IP telephony applications.
8. Assistance in extracting appropriate reports from existing infrastructure for determine the extent and nature of usage of telephony resources, to analyse user behavior.
9. Extract information about misuse and/or excessive usage of telephony resources from reports
10. Carry out the Change Management & Incident Management process in case of any Troubleshooting
11. Installation, adding or deleting of IP Phones and the Extension numbers for new requirements or deletions.
12. Monitoring of all the Cisco IP Calls through the Call Billing Software(commsouth)
13. Vendor also needs to support on troubleshooting of PRI Lines, SIP Issues, Trunk Issues, Call Partition issues, Configuration and troubleshooting of PRI Lines and diverting the calls to other units in case of any primary or main PRI link failures
14. Vendor needs to interact with the OEM for getting any replacements of the faulty devices

Network Security:
1. Design, review and implement network security policies
2. Advising best practices on the security design to meet the standard policies
3. Resolving user queries and issues
4. Troubleshooting services availability for vpn users and branch offices connected through site to site tunnel (IP Sec Tunnel)
5. Managing and troubleshooting the appliances for maintaining security posture and routing update of firmware for keeping the security up to date.
6. Technical inputs encryption technology, authentication, etc.
7. Monitoring of Logs for all the Security devices
8. Design, review and implement network security policies for all the Firewalls
9. Advising best practices on the security design to meet the standard policies
10. Manage the IPSEC tunnels between various offices of CUSTOMER (existing 7 number of IPSEC Tunnels to be managed and troubleshooting in case of any connectivity failures) using the Cisco ASA and Cyberoam Firewalls.
11. Take a periodic backup of all the Firewalls (Cisco, Cyberoam)
12. Configuration of IPSEC Tunnel for the new offices through Remote or WebEx
13. Configure and maintain the Firewalls installed across the CUSTOMER Office
14. Designing policies for security of internet access of users.
15. Implementation of security policies based on access rights.
16. Allowing or blocking the various URLs or applications based on specific requests.
17. Provide regular reports of internet usage & Monitoring of the all the Internet usage for users
18. Managing all the URL / application or Proxy devices deployed across various offices of CUSTOMER
19. Designing security policies for vpn user access to CUSTOMER services
20. Microsoft Active directory integration with Gemalto cloud based authentication
21. Radius pairing between cisco ASA and Gemalto
22. Report generation of current and historical VPN user authentication (permission passed and failure)
23. Maintenance of cloud based services and renewal to subscription on time for approx. 250 VPN Users
24. Vendor needs to interact with the OEM for getting any replacements of the faulty devices

Wireless LAN:
1. Management & Troubleshooting of existing WLAN access points (approx. 35 no) & controller installed (Cisco & Ruckus WIFI Controller) across various offices of CUSTOMER & Project sites using Multiple VLAN spread across approx. 125 no of Switches
2. Configuration assistance and troubleshooting of all the SSID created across CUSTOMER offices
3. Implementation & maintenance of guest network.
4. Optimization of wireless network to provide highest throughput.
5. Monitoring of All the WIFI Access Points and their usage
6. Vendor needs to interact with the OEM for getting any replacements of the faulty devices

Video conference:

1. Troubleshooting of Existing video conference network as required which are installed across various CUSTOMER offices
2. QOS for H323 and SIP to ensure seamless video conference
3. Contacting video conference customers, partner and HO for VC troubleshooting
4. Support VC related issues for approx. 10 no VC devices spread or installed across various Offices of CUSTOMER
5. Troubleshooting the Integration issues of VC with the Cisco UCS.
6. Vendor needs to interact with the OEM for getting any replacements of the faulty devices
